Privacy statement
Short and without the fog: we collect only what is needed to handle your request, we sell nothing on, and you can ask at any time what we hold about you.
Who is responsible

What we process
Only what you enter in the quote form or send us by email or WhatsApp:
- Company name, contact person, email address and, if you fill it in, a phone number.
- Details about the premises: town, postcode, property type, floor area, number of rooms, the work you need, frequency, preferred time, start date and how we get in.
- The free-text note you write yourself.
- Technical: a hashed version of your IP address (SHA-256) to limit abuse of the form, plus the time of submission. The IP address itself is not stored.
This is business contact data. We do not ask for special categories of personal data and have no use for them.
Purposes and legal bases
- Handling your request and producing a quote
- Necessary for the performance of a contract or steps prior to it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), together with your consent via the checkbox on the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Staying in contact about a running job, and invoicing
- Performance of the contract (b) and, for the accounts, a legal obligation (c).
- Preventing abuse of the form
- Legitimate interest (f): without a brake, an automated attack costs us money and costs you a working form.
Translation of your note
The owner of this business speaks Turkish. Of everything you submit, only the free-text note is machine-translated into Turkish using Amazon Translate, so that he can assess your request himself. The fixed fields were translated once and never pass through a translation service. The translation is internal only; you always receive Dutch, or English if that is what you chose.
Who else sees your data
Nobody who has no business with it. We do not sell or rent data and do not use it for advertising. We do use one processor:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): website hosting, storage of the request, sending email and the translation. Processing takes place in the EU region eu-west-1 (Ireland), under the standard AWS GDPR Data Processing Addendum.
Beyond that, data leaves only where the law requires it.
Cookies and third parties
This website sets no tracking or analytics cookies and loads no scripts, fonts or images from other parties. The fonts are served from our own domain precisely because loading Google Fonts would send your IP address to a party outside the EU. There is therefore no cookie banner: there is nothing to refuse.
Only the private area of this site (for the owner) uses one strictly necessary cookie to keep a session. As a visitor you never receive it.
How long we keep it
Requests and the related correspondence are kept for 36 months (3 years) after the last contact, and then deleted. Invoices and accounting records are kept for seven years because Dutch tax law requires it. Want to be deleted sooner? See below.
Security
All traffic with this site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Requests are stored in a database that only the application can reach. IP addresses are hashed before storage. Access to the private area uses a single-use sign-in link rather than a password that can leak.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to your data, for correction, for erasure, for restriction of processing, and for portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. One email to info@qurbanschoonmaak.nl is enough; we respond within four weeks.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We would rather hear it first ourselves, but that right stands regardless.

If how we process data changes, we update this statement. The date below is the last change.
