Office cleaning

Office cleaning is routine work, and routine work goes wrong the moment nobody knows exactly what was agreed. So you get a work programme up front: for every room, what happens and how often. That document is the annex to your quote, and it is what we both fall back on if there is ever a discussion.

The work happens before 08:30 or after 17:00. During office hours is possible by arrangement, but it is rarely what an office actually wants. Nobody enjoys a vacuum cleaner next to a video call.

Every visit

• Desks, reception counters and meeting tables wiped; screens only on request.
• Floors vacuumed and mopped where needed, including walkways and stairs.
• Sanitary areas: toilets, basins, mirrors and taps; soap, paper and towel rolls restocked.
• Pantry and coffee corner: worktop, sink, outside of appliances, dishwasher emptied if agreed.
• Bins emptied and separated the way your building does it.
• Touch points: door handles, light switches, lift buttons and handrails.

Periodically, per the work programme

• Skirting boards, door frames and radiators.
• Inside of windows and glass internal doors.
• Ventilation grilles and the tops of cabinets.
• Inside of the fridge and microwave, in consultation with your staff.

What we do not touch

We do not move papers on desks, we do not open cupboards, and we do not enter a server room or any other locked area unless the work programme says so explicitly. A room that is off limits stays off limits (you only have to say it once).

How it runs

We work with a key or fob on loan, a keypad lock, or someone of yours lets us in. Whichever you choose, you know in advance who is coming. If there is illness or a holiday, you hear about it beforehand, not afterwards.
